To optimize image capture open
the Hard Drive Settings.

Select .JPG

|
JPG provides the best Image
Size compression whilst BMP provides no Image compression
and generates large file sizes.

Select JPG quality 
|
Make sure that this is set to
70%. If you choose BMP then no compression is
provided in this format and images have a very large file
size.

Select date and time

|
Always select date and time
stamping on images.

| 5.
Capture Interval

|
To ensure that your system
captures an adequate number of images each time movement is
detected make sure you select a capture interval
This is measured in 100ths of
a second.
Set this to 20 which means that you will capture
an images every 20th of a second I.E. 5 Images will be
captured every second.

6.
Capture Duration
 |
Set this period to 1
second. This means that you will get 5 snap shot images each
second. If you set this any higher then movement in other
cameras will not be detected and captured.
