Getting Started with your Stealth Big Brother software

1. Start

 

Having installed the capture card and software you will have restarted your machine.

Now click on the Stealth 4 Cam icon.

2. The program will now run

The program will look like this if you have your screen setting set to 1024 x 768 which is recommended.

Stealth Big Brother requires 1024 x 768 resolution found in screen settings within your control panel.

If you have difficulty selecting this AEI offer application software that easily changes your screen resolution. If you do not know how to change your resolution then you can download the PCsender application here which features a 'High res' selection button.

 

3. Connect to the Drivers

 

 

The Stealth Big Brother Software must connect to the capture card drivers which are automatically identified. Choose the correct color setting. PAL I for UK/Europe or NTSC for USA

You can also access Device settings by clicking on the camera Icon.

4. Now perform the 'Connect' function


By clicking connect the software will now make the first connection to the drivers. Any cameras connected to the capture card will be displayed.

5. Activate the Camera Inputs

Only select the cameras that you have connected to the capture card. If you select cameras that are not physically connected it may cause cameras to be color saturated.

This can also be selected from the Control Panel.

6.  Cameras appear

 

You will now see all connected cameras appear. 

(To view the date and time on the image you can select this on the control panel).

7. Choose your Actions

 

 

Now press to select actions.

Select by adding a tick to look like this

1. Save to Drive. This will save all captured images to a folder on your Hard Drive when image movement detection is tripped. We recommend this function is selected during test.

2. FTP. If you have an Internet site and you are familiar with FTP then you can upload the images to a server when image movement detection is tripped.

3. E-mail. This can be used to send an image to an e-mail address when image movement detection is tripped.

4. SMS. You can have an SMS message sent using e-mail protocol via a third party provider when image movement detection is tripped.

5. Scheduled Upload. This will automatically upload images using FTP protocol at times you choose.

6. Play Sound. A sound file can be played when the movement detection is tripped. We recommend this function is selected during test.

8. Select the GO function

 

When you click the function the Stealth Big Brother will start to look for movement within any image and follow the Actions that you have selected.

Press to stop the system recording.
