Trip Level
As movement is detected
within a camera image it is displayed with a blue bar that
appears from the left. The more movement the further the
blue bar moves to the right. Use the slider to mark a trip
point at which images will start to be recorded. See Alarm
actions.
Image detection is provided
using 3 separate detection engines which are selected on
this panel.
Make sure the on/off is
selected for the cameras you have connected to the capture
card.
If excessive movement is
detected adjust the master Sensitivity Level at the bottom
of this panel.
EG. Non trip
condition where movement is not sufficient to cause a trip
 |
Movement
but no trip |
EG. Trip condition
which causes selected actions to be started such as
'save to drive'.

Detection Method
provides 3 options
1. Uses edge movement
detection fine
2. Uses edge movement detection course
3. Uses average block pixel value comparison
The Edge detection engine provides
two outline images then compares and creates movement
detection and is
ideal for preventing false triggering from excessive and
sudden sunshine.
Pixel comparison looks for
changes in both brightness and color of a given area of the
image.
You need to experiment with
each engine as different ones suit different makes
of camera and applications. It is essential that you use cameras with a
stable
field generator as offered by the the SBB Sony cameras.
Sensitivity Level
This is a Master level
control that applies less or more movement sensitivity to all 4 camera inputs.
Experiment with this setting for ideal results. Centre is
Default, Left is high and Right is low.
